I am Spoon number 4, I could be a salt spoon, or a spice spoon. There are no rules when it comes to food!

CREATOR'S NOTES_

The contrasting textures of the spoon reveal it’s hand carved nature. However, it’s the small size of the faceted scoop that reveals the rigorous attention to detail in this piece. At this size, each knife stroke needs to be purposeful to ensure not too much material is removed.

The flat sides of the stem really bring out the intricate patterns of the natural wood grain, the spalted maple in particular, accentuates the strong ripples across the length of the piece.
